Social Scientists Involvement
14-16 July 2025, Stockholm

SCENTINEL promotes the importance of scientific integrity and respectful conduct, gender equality, recognition and career development parallel to a healthier work-life balance. For these reasons, we have teamed with Social Scientists from University of Crete, Vasiliki Petousi and Angelos Loukakis, to participate in SCENTINEL activities. The Research Ethics Committee at FORTH assessed the compliance of SCENTINEL with the European Legislation on Bioethics in respect to the value of humans, the autonomy of the participants, to their private life and their personal data, as well as the natural and cultural environment. ( https://forth.gr/en/content/Ethics-Committee.122/ ). SCENTINEL Protocol Number 261/11-07-2025.

During networks’s annual meeting they conducted two Focus Groups discussions, one for junior members and one for senior members of the consortium. All participants signed the consent of data usage in person. Personal data and social-related data will be kept, analyzed and presented according to the Research Ethics Committee of FORTH license.
